Bide your time and you won't regret it

I've made a few trips to TJ in the past couple of years, and time to share some pointers. :-)

I flew in to L.A. a day early for work so that I could make the road trip down to TJ... Parked at Border Station (by PedWest), $23 for overnight parking in a supervised lot -- very little chance that your car will get molested unless you leave something valuable in sight. Walked over to the old crossing to get in to Mexico and stopped for Vitamin V at the little pharmacy by the new taxi stand. Packets of four are $20 for a reputable generic brand (Figral). My first time to the ZN I got a mesero to get me a single tab for 20. 100mg in both cases... I wish I knew someplace convenient that sold 50, but no big deal for me.

Got a single room at Cascadas, checked in late afternoon. I've found that the earlier you get there, the likelier it is that you'll get one on the 6th floor, which is important if you're going to be doing any sleeping. I think the 4th floor single rooms are now refreshed, but they're too close to the bar for me.
