Took my turn
I'm making the rounds this week, so I figured I would stop at LA. Haven't been there for a while, but it hasn't changed. The building is ready to be condemned and, like others have posted, the seats are entirely worn out. Bottled water set me back $2. There's a two drink minimum but I doubt anyone keeps track. Two dancers on shift around noon, Sky (brunette, early 30s, plain-faced but friendly) and everyone's favorite doorknob Jamie (Blonde, late 30's, nice naturals). The bartender was probably also a dancer, very petite skinny blonde, mid-40's. There were several customer that came and went as I waited - with only two girls several of the guys had a drink then left without any dances. I saw at least 8 or 10 guys there, but I only saw one get VIP and two others get dances at the bar.
I got a couple of bar-side dances from Sky. Good stick shifting, though I wasn't really feeling it. She had zero makeup on, and looked like she just rolled out of bed. She wasn't pushy though, so I tipped fairly well and waited my turn with Jamie. After scrounging a couple of dollar bills for the jukebox, Jamie did two dances at the bar for me, then we went VIP. I only did one song with her in the booth, but I left quite happy. Be warned, she tried to run outside without her raincoat, so come prepared for wet weather. I didn't bother to bargain with her, but I got the sense that her menu is negotiable.
Overall, the place is a dump - but it's a consistent dump. No thug element on a Monday afternoon, mostly retirees. Lots of country on the Jukebox. Patrons outnumbered dancers at least 5:1, but most of them got tired of waiting and left - probably headed down the street to OGD.
