Disappointing

I'm not sure what else to say. When I last reviewed this club five years ago it was like visiting a fun relaxed party spot. This time it felt stiff, uptight and more than a little depressing.

To kick it off, like yesteryear, I paid $10 to get in and $8 for a Jack on the rocks. This time, however, the Jack pour was much stingier. To make things worse, they charged me for a water back. I had the choice of paying $2 for a glass of tap water or $4 for a bottle. With that little cute practice, Show N Tel joined the thin ranks of a small number of ripoff joints that try to charge for water backs for hard alcohol drinks.

But anyway, the bottle stretched over three of the mini-shot drinks, so it wasn't a deal breaker. What did send me out the door eventually, however, was the depressing atmosphere. There were maybe 5 dancers and an equal number of customers. The dancers were in the high six to low 7 range, so not terrible. And of course they do get fully nude. But absent were fun games like the cups under the pussies. Gone also was the fun banter - these girls were quiet and so too were the guys trying to give them gyno exams from their chairs.
