I hit Bourbon Street last Sunday...

I hit Bourbon Street last Sunday afternoon.. I expected it to be pretty lowkey, but I guess the Suns playoff game had just finished, so it was actually crowded and hoppin. When you first come in the door, you're in a small hallway with a window where you pay the cover charge. I got in there around 3pm, so there was no cover at this time. (I believe its usually 7 bucks, and I've never seen them charge it until after 5pm). Once past the window, you'll see its a fairly large club... the bar is to your immediate right.. the VIP and a smaller secondary bar in the back to the left. There's three stages, one of which I've never seen in use and just seems to be in the way more than anything else. The main stage is centrally located along the far wall, and its flanked on either side with big screen tv's.. and both walls on either side also have comfortable couches along it. The smaller stages are on the right nearer the bar, and the left nearer the VIP. Seating is plentiful surrounding the main stage, and there's additional seating further back to the left nearer the secondary bar. Drinks are pretty typically priced.. C&C runs about 5.75.. There is a happy hour that runs to 7pm on drinks and domestic brews.. 2 for 1.. so that 5.75 will get you two C&C's.. but of course, they bring 'em both at once.. so unless you want that second one sitting there diluting, you'll want to pound the first one. No problem there. The waitresses (who are all extremely good looking and very nice) will also bring you free popcorn, which I've never tried so can't comment on. That's extent of food or snacks here.

The dancers are all pretty incredible here. A lot of silicon, but also some very nice naturals. A nice mix of ladies overall, everyone should find something to their liking. Dances run $10 on the floor and $20 in the VIP. Also during the happy hour, dances are only supposed to be 8 bucks on the floor, but I would hope no cheapskates actually ask for change back on their tenspot. VIP is worth the extra cash only depending on the girl. Some girls hardsell going to the back and then don't do much more than they do on the floor.. Some girls barely mention it, or wait for you to, and then really make your night. It's really hit and miss until you know the ladies a bit. Now for my one knock on the club, sometimes its pretty tough to even get a dance. Some girls go directly from the VIP to the stage and back to the VIP.. others go directly from their drinking area behind the bar to the stage and back to the bar. It sometimes feel as if there are no girls circulating the floor at all. I can't say that I blame the girls. If I had a repeated up in VIP, I know I wouldn't bother with trolling the floor either.. But from a customer's point of view, its less desirable of course. Overall a great club, with a good comfortable vibe.. Special kudoes to Janessa who is just remarkable looking and a total sweetheart.. and to Jody, who is also completely hot but also has a brain and by golly ain't afraid to use it. Love talking to that girl.
