Wasted trip on Monday afternoon

Monday afternoon was pretty lame, with 2 exceptions.

First off, I don't usually complain about how expensive this place is. When I am going to a club, I don't mind paying more for quality, e.g. quality of the dancers, quality of the venue, quality of the service, etc. However, lately this place has been disappointing me on dancer quality and overall "vampiness." When I walked in on Monday, the place was practically dead. The staff were walking around like a bunch of zombies. The dancers didn't seem to have much energy. My waitress was henpecking me. The whole vibe was blah. It cost me around 40 bucks for valet parking and a couple of drinks with tip, so when I'm paying this kind of money, I want a lot of fucking excitement and energy. Monday this was nowhere to be found.

As soon as I walked in and sat down, my ATF came by and sat down with me. I'm not a regular and I don't think she recognized me, it just seemed to work out that way. Unfortunately I had not even ordered a drink yet. My style is that I like to come in and sit for about 30 minutes and have a few drinks before I have any meaningful dancer contact. Part of this is that I like to scope out the girls and see what's available. So when my fav girl sits down right away and within 2 minutes asks if I want to dance, I politely say "Not right now but for sure in a little while." She then says she'll come back and see me in a bit and she excuses herself to leave. Well, you can guess what happened next. Within about 10 minutes she sat down with a regular of hers and I was shit out of luck with no chance of her returning in a timely fashion.
