Liked the place, less the dancers

Went into Vanity last Tuesday, right at 9pm. On first look, I already liked the place. The girl taking cover ($5) was friendly, and the inside was the type of place I'd normally like - crappy, wood-paneled dive bar for the bar area (which is great), and the stage was relatively nice, had strong music that could still be talked over a little, decent mix of music, lights and fog machines, etc. Like a dive bar with a fairly clean, fairly professional stage. Signs here and there said that Jenna Haze would be dancing there in a couple of days.

So I grab a $4 coke from the bartender and have a seat - basically just me and 4 guys from Ohio State (complete with OSU shirts and at least 2 guys who may have just turned 18). No dancers. The DJ starts calling for the next dancer, nothing happens. A couple of songs change over, and I just keep watching the Cubs and Cardinals. Eventually, Kali (Cali? dunno) came up and danced. She was cute, eventually lured the OSU guys up to the stage and embarrassed them a bit - they weren't actually ready for tits. The DJ actually contributed the whole time, which was odd but at least briefly hilarious (as he was mostly commenting on the OSU guys and not me). Eventually the next dancer came up and Kali failed to leave. The DJ reminded her a few times, then pointed her to the leftover dollars on stage, while Selina tried to dance. Selina basically knelt and bounced a little. One tit came out, but only one. Massive pastie on it. Looked weird.

They seemed to do 3 songs each, then move to the "diamond stage" for a couple more. I never saw any 2nd stage, but they were standing at the bar talking to a couple of semi-unkempt guys when I did happen to look around.
