Sausage fest, and one seriously fucking rude DJ
I hadn't been here in a month or two, but I had some fairly good visits in July so I decided to give it a try again as I was driving by. I'm sure glad I didn't make a special trip, cause it was pretty shitty. Parking is the same, no charge and plenty of space during the day. It's the exact opposite at night, I've tried to stop in and left cause the only parking was valet or self park basically in a field behind the place. Outside there's a guy with a wand who made me empty my pockets and then proceeded to pat me down because I had metal buttons in my shorts that set off the wand. He was friendly enough, but the club is in an area where that sort of shit seems way overboard, especially in the middle of the afternoon. Inside, there was some sort of vendor there discussing shit with the door girl and some male employee. So, I sat for a good 5 minutes (felt like 45) waiting to pay a $5 cover. Yeah, a $5 cover in WPB, during the day. Inside, the place is still nice & clean.
There must have been half a dozen male host/manager types walking around. There were 3 female non-strippers, not sure how many were Bartenders vs Waitresses. And a grand total of two strippers. The first of which was on stage when I got there, she wasn't bad looking but not my type. She had apparently just got on stage when I entered. I sat at my table without being approached by a manager or waitress for her entire 3 song set. I had nothing else to do, so I kinda watched her. She didn't take of her bottoms, I didn't mind cause I didn't find her hot but I do appreciate an actual nude club when the girls are hot. A waitress came over and got me a $7 domestic beer eventually, but there was a good 3-4 songs in between when I ordered & when I got my beer & another 4-5 between when I paid and when I got change. I was one of maybe 4 customers at tables (another 2-3 at the bar.) As mentioned earlier, there were 3 people serving drinks. The whole time I was waiting for my beer & change, the stage was empty. The DJ was rambling on about some crap, but nothing useful or interesting.
Shortly after I got my change, the other dancer went on stage. About midway through her set, the DJ starting shining a fucking flashlight in my eyes. At first, I thought it was accidental and he was just fooling about twirling it around out of boredom. I was mildly annoyed, but willing to overlook it. Then, he did it again. I got up and left.
