Rouge

So Club Rouge has been the club I've been going to the most over the past few months. Dolphin used to be my favorite club, but with the declining dancer quality there, Dolphin is no longer my fav club. I currently don't have a favorite club per se, but Rouge would probably fall closest to a favorite club right now for me.

There is no parking lot for Rouge, so you're gonna have to find some street parking, or a parking garage, or another parking lot. Monday through Saturday after 9pm there is a 5 buck cover. After midnight the cover bumps up to 10 bucks. Sunday there's no cover, and on all the other days before 9pm there is no cover. The bouncer at the door does let you know that you can't look at your phone inside the club. I think Rouge now opens at 11am. I've been to Rouge as early as 6pm, there's usually not too many customers there at that time, six or seven customers at most, and I've seen times where there were one or two customers. Generally it's pretty slow before 8pm.

Drink prices are a little more than what'd you'd normally see in a Portland club. A rum and Coke at Rouge is 7 bucks, where other places it's in the 4-6 buck range. At that times on a Friday or Saturday night if you go to the bar it might be awhile before you get your drink. Very busy. I normally let the waitress come around and ask me if I want a drink.
