Didn't seem like much

I was driving south of Nashville, and saw the sign for this place on the interstate and decided to check it out, even though it was late and I didn't have much time or cash. You drive down a long gravel road to get to the building. When I went in, the lights on the place were fully on, no music was playing, no one was on stage, and there were only three or four girls at the bar.

In the full light, none of them looked all that appealing. I was just starting to talk to one of them, when the bartender came to get my $5 cover. I looked around the place one last time, and decided not to bother so I bailed. Who knows, perhaps this is the kind of place where you can have some fun, but that night it just didn't look like it was worth the time, effort, or money. Maybe it is better earlier in the night, or later in the week.
