Tudor Dynasty?
I've often wondered how the "H8" clubs got their name. I suppose the namesake king was well known for his appetites and his succession of short-lived marriages, so while the surroundings are far from palatial and you won't see any Natalie Dormer lookalikes at Hank's, you can definitely feel like royalty for a day (or 30 minutes or so) without spending a king's ransom.
Mondays at Henry VIII are famous for half-price dances ($10 instead of the usual $20 per song). This draws a bigger crowd for a weekday, but with the bonus of bringing in more dancers as well (Why more clubs don't understand the economics and adopt more reasonable dance prices is one of the great mysteries of this industry).
As far as layout/decor/atmosphere is concerned, H8N is pretty much a textbook dive. You enter close to the bar with the main stage to the right and second stage on the left. The layout is cramped, and rather awkward since there aren't really good seats to watch both stages at once. Sitting at the bar probably gives the best vantage point, but seems to get the least attention from dancers making their rounds.
