I finally made it back to Loyalist City for another visit to Blush. I arrived around 20:15 on a Saturday night, not long after they opened. The club is located upstairs and you must clear a metal detector at the top of the stairs to be allowed inside. There is never a cover charge before 22:00. Cans of Sincweiser were $5.75. Cocktails for dancers were $5.75. The front room is a small bar with an alcove that has some couches surrounding a stripper pole. The back room has a large bar and a larger stage surrounded by railings and chains. Contact at the stage is nonexistent, but a tip might get a dancer to seek you out later. Private dances take place on regular chairs in cubicles. Privacy is afforded by a curtain across the entrance, but the staff will peek in at the beginning of each song.

For a Saturday night I expected there to be more than four dancers working. There were three by 21:00, and a fourth showed up by 22:00. I only recognized one from my last visit ten months ago. There were long gaps where the stage would be empty between performers. The club runs a stage rotation where a dancer will strip down to topless over the course of two songs, followed by a break for one song. Then the dancer will return to the stage for a final song, stripping down to nude. Dancers get completely nude during lap dances, but they typically wait a song or two to drop their bottoms. I think they want to make sure they are at least selling multiple dances before they show their pudding hatch. They will put a handkerchief or cloth across your lap to keep a degree of separation.
