Paradise Club

This is an above average club that is a welcome addition to the Jacksonville market. The place is located right off exit 341 of I-95. There was no fee to park and no cover charge for my early evening visit. The club is very nice on the inside and offers about ten food items on its food menu.

I sat at the bar and ordered a $4 beer from the personable bar tender. Around 8 pm, the stage show got going, and it was fairly entertaining. The dancers were a mix of ethnicities- Hispanic, black, white, and Asian, and body types but with a slight lean to athletic Hispanic dancers in their 20s. The dancers did pole tricks and even a bit of grinding on the stage with tipping customers. The odd things were the arm chairs that surrounded the stage and that dancers did not spend more time on stage with the tipping customers.

Anyways, I was approached by a dancer who offered a private dance for $30. Sadly, I was not approached by any of the dancers who I tipped on the stage. Also, I thought it was weird that the DJ kept getting out of the booth and walking around the club. However, the lack of smoke made it a welcome change to some of the other JAX clubs where I go all the time.
