The Watering Hole Lounge would be...

The Watering Hole Lounge would be your typical redneck-tittie-bar-out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere except it's only a few hundred feet off I-65 exit 22. Which means in addition to the rural redneck patrons, you also have the truckers and the occassional immigrants (legal or otherwise I don't know) from points even further south than redneck country. The building is old and run down but kept decently clean, other than the men's room which is just a filthy waterless hole (no tap water to wash your hands after you pee!). It sits right next door to "Club Utopia", even though they are listed in different towns on this site. Cover is $5 unless you show them a Commercial Drivers License instead, then admission is free. There is also enough room to park several tractor-trailors in the lot to the side of the building. I'm not sure what all the beverage options available are, but bottled beer was being served in abundance and I didn't observe anyone bringing their own through the door, so it's not BYOB like most places in Nashville. Both times I have visited here lately (a Monday night and a Tuesday night but not the same week) the six to ten dancers were for the most part attractive, more so than I expected for such an out of the way place. No real stunners, but no real ugly ones either. Each girl does a two song set on stage. The first song is usually "bikini" then the top comes off for the second one. The "pasties" stay on however. Stageside tipping varies greatly from one dancer to the next, and even from one patron to the next for some of the dancers. Anywhere from placing your tip in the garter with no contact whatsoever to extended "stevies" and "shoulder rides" (with or without "nose rubs") to dropping the tip in the front of the thong and getting a partial flash of kitty. Lap dances are available in about six semi-private booths along one wall separated from the main room by a wall that is solid for about the first four feet up off the floor, then latticework on up to the ceiling. One booth has several black lights in it that make it highly visible from the rest of the club and most of the others are either right in front of the center entrance or the entrance near the front door/dj booth. The two booths on the other end near the stage and the men's room are a little darker and harder to see into without being obvious about it. The dancers who use these most of the time seem to allow a bit more naughtiness than the ones who use the others, but mileage is highly variable here. Most give a decent grind and some will let you see more than you can stageside and/or let you do a little northern exploration. I wouldn't expect anything really radical, but with the right girl it might be beneficial to wear loose fitting shorts with nothing underneath once the weather warms up. There is a sign posted on the wall between the VIP area and the main floor that says lap dances are "2 for $20 all night", but some girls expect a specific tip in addition if you want anything more than a lame air dance, so make sure you know what to expect before the dance.

My least favorite feature of the club is that the dancers have to "sell" a specific number of drinks per night in addition to paying a set tip-out. If you're there on a slow night you can get hounded to buy the girls a drink. At least they are priced the same when you buy one for the dancers as they are when patrons buy one for themselves. Prices are about $2.50 for a cup of cola and 3.50-4.00 for bottled beer. As I said earlier, not sure if anything harder is available, but I didn't see it if it was. And of course you gotta' tip the waitress, even though she's pushy about buying the dancers a drink.

Not somewhere worth driving a long distance to get to, but not a bad place to stop if you're driving by on I-65 and have a little extra time and money. A few bucks will stretch a little farther here than most clubs I've been to, but the possibilities are a little more limited than what I prefer when I visit a club.
