Had modest expectations, was impressed a little

Nobody has reviewed this club for several months, so I took a chance on a Tuesday. Overall I liked the look and layout of the club. It's mostly composed of basic nightclub ornaments and lighting on the ceiling, with black painted walls... So it doesn't feel grandiose or pretentious, yet manages to be few steps above "dive". The stages are walkways for the dancers, at a comfortable height for patrons to sit in chairs and interact with them.

It's a large space, it feels like a converted commercial building, with ceilings that are not as high as modern aesthetics dictate. There are lots and lots of padded chairs and sofas all around.

There were about 10 dancers and 15 customers. Dancers were not as acrobatic and polished as you'd find at the major clubs, but there were not any that I considered ugly. There was a broad mix of them ethnically. So don't assume from the location of this club within the "black" neighborhoods of Charlotte, that it's an urban-oriented club.
