Awkward time
First time here, I stopped in on a Saturday night around 10 pm, $5 cover, a few patrons at the bar and a group at a table in the back area, maybe 10-12 patrons total, I saw about 5-7 dancers mostly around the group in the back who were of Latino/Mexican decent. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer, the whole time I was there the bartender was complaining about the Mexican patrons not tipping her properly among other things, she was complaining to the customers at the bar being me and a few other Caucasian guys.
I guess they were also having some staffing issues with a couple dancers not showing for their shift and the bartender and bouncer/manager were discussing her termination right in front of the customers at the bar. It was a uncomfortable situation for me to be sitting there listening to their banter and complaining, I felt they should conduct that type of business in the office or back room. I got little attention from the dancers while there and I was more interested at this point of finishing my beer and leaving.
There were a few cute girls working that I would have liked to get to know better if they weren't more interested in getting drunk off the Mexican guys buying them "dancer priced drinks". I was never approached for a dance, and probably wouldn't have gotten one at this point anyway, I stayed about an hour and left wondering if this place gets any better. Very poor crowd for a Saturday night in my opinion, I am used to quite a bit more action in my local area. I may return some time and see if things are possibly different on a different night, with a different staff and possibly a different crowd. It was just an awkward time this time around.
