Pretty girls, great staff, good music - a really great night

TL;DR: I spent more than I should, but I had a great time. There's something for everyone and it's a great place to hang out.

Driving up to Eden around 7PM, it is a total dump on the outside. It's small, there's not a lot money spent on upkeep, and judging by the neighborhood and the cars, I considered passing by it. However, it has been labelled the best club in a city of poor-to-middlin' clubs. Walking in, I was the youngest and whitest collar in there. Not the whitest skin, just collar. Just inside the door are several tables and chairs. the fair-sized main stage is on the right wall, a second oblong stage is on the left. the DJ booth is in the far right corner, the bar is along the back half of the left wall, just past the second stage. Every stool at the bar was taken, except one, and no one was sitting at tables. I saw six or so girls milling about. Most too chubby for me to bother with. I took the one empty stool at the end of the bar, away from the pack, and debated how quickly to leave.

Beers are cheap at that time, $2, and the male bartender is fast and friendly. Looking down the bar at all the girls and other patrons, I could see one or two girls that I might be interested in, but they were locked up with what I assumed to be their regulars. I could also see the top of one girl's head that I thought might be attractive. I was pretty much determined to leave when the bartender asked me for a second beer, and I do not know why I said yes. For some reason, he put this beer in a coozie. I asked why, and he said that management wanted him to use them. I took it off and used it as a coaster.
