MOCHA MONDAY FOR ME

I was in Atlanta on business and made arrangements to meet another TUSCLer who was also visiting from out of state. We decided to check out Strokers since we both love chocolate. I've been in a lot of ATL clubs over the last 20 years, but neither he nor I had been to Strokers. I am sure he will post a review in his own inimitable style.

Strokers is in a run-down-looking strip mall, with a variety of small businesses and a few ethnic restaurants. It was easy to find – a sign with STROKERS in big red letters sits atop a tall totem pole, along with signs for the other businesses, that is visible from the Stone Mountain Freeway nearby.

I pulled up about 9:30 on a Monday night and was surprised at the number of cars in the lot. Since all the businesses except Strokers were closed, it was easy to surmise that Strokers might be pretty lively on a Monday night. I gotta say, though, that I didn’t love the parking lot, as there were a number of guys just hanging out here and there, and the lighting was spotty at best. I found a place to park a little bit away from the other cars and the guys that were hanging out. No fee to park.
