an oasis in the corn

This place was much more fun than expected. It's located across the street from an ag-industrial complex of some sort, and is only open on Friday and Saturday nights. It has a surprising variety of women for a small town midwestern bar, although they are basically all locals, representing a range of ages from "just now legal", to "rode hard and put away wet". I guess you could say that they have something for everyone's taste.

The ladies in this place are very personable and approachable. They make everyone feel right at home, and they seem to be genuinely having fun working here, and not just collecting paychecks and trying to hustle. I had a dance with Maria, who is on of the friendlier dancers in the place. Although we had nice conversation and the dance was fine, it's worth noting that there is no touching at all and there is no privacy where the dances take place.

I usually prefer to have some contact and to see what i'm paying for, so this was a disappointment to me. She danced for three normal-length songs for $50+ tip. Given the lack of other options (next closest place is in Urbana), it's not a bad way to spend a few hours on a Friday or Saturday evening.
