Mixture of Friendliness and Aloofness with uncomfortable seating.
Driving though Binghamton late on Saturday I decided to stop in the vicinity of this club, looking for Tzer's (which the bouncer rudely told me was closed). Five dollar cover at about 11pm. I had to make a U-turn up the road to come back here, near a newer club (or an older club under new management) called Lure, which was a better deal and maybe the subject of a future review.
Back to Madame Oar's: the cut barmaid was pleasant but the girls were aloof, unless you lined up your tips on the small shelf in front of the floor. If you tip a dollar at a time, the girls won't pay attention to you. I didn't sense pressure here but rather an 'I don't care because my regular local guys are here' vibe. Not a great impression for this first timer. If you go, sit at the part of the stage by the bar, not the opposite side, as you will be blinded into an epileptic seizure by the strobe. Over all, a no-pressure but high cost clip joint which seems to favor regulars.
This is my first review, and I wish I could say better things about this club, since I drove out of my way to get there, but we are explorers and adventurers, right? The girls ranged from 5-9, and danced well. Only one offer to go pvt, which I think was $20 per song, and did not partake. It's probably not a bad club, but I was looking for the full nude experience and stopped here as a consolation.
