Low pressure local bar. Might be better later at night.
I had driven by this place once on a Tuesday and it appeared to be closed. So tried later in the week this time. Got there about 7pm on a Thursday. The bar’s reasonably nice, large stage, bathrooms are to the left, pretty clean for strip club restrooms, two rooms for entertainers toward the front, large marble bar. There were about five or six guys at the bar, and two bartenders stocking things up for the night. Any women that were around at this time were in the Entertainer’s Only rooms. Barmaid was friendly 40’s-ish she said they were out of some things like Guinness and Cabo. No DJ, but several screens around running mostly classic rock videos from the 70s. There was no cover and drinks were reasonable I got a Sam Adam’s for $5.
At around 8pm the bartenders started trying to get the dancers to come out and a couple came out and seemed to gravitate toward the regulars. Pretty attractive women this evening, mostly 20s thin. There was a tall blond and cute brunette spinner that went to a guy at each end of the bar. I was unfortunately seated in the middle. So about a half an hour later the bartenders tried getting some more girls to come out and a couple more came out, again they seemed to head to the regulars. This time there was a thin Hispanic brunette and a another blond, a bit older, probably 30s but well kept. But since It was my first time here and the other guys seemed like they were regulars, I was still sitting alone and been there for two hours. Was pretty surprised the girls weren’t moving around more even though only one of the guys had taken the first blond back for a private. Also still no one on stage.
A little after 9pm the crowd had gotten a little bigger including at least one middle aged couple and bartenders started trying to encourage some of the girls up on stage. The hispanic girl got up there and some of the crowd moved to the stage. Seems to be a pastie bar for the most part on the main stage. A thin black girl also with pasties going by Montana came over to talk to me and I asked her if she wanted a drink, since drinks were reasonable. She passed and said she just got there and wanted a cigarette first, but hung out to talk for a bit. According to her it was more crowded than usual, but there was still only about ten people there at this point. She asked if I might want a dance later and I said sure. It’s $20 per song. Then she went off to have a cigarette.
So it appears to be a very low pressure place. Which can be nice, but at this point I’d been there for three hours and seemed to be getting nowhere. So I decided to move on. I’d only spent $12 for two beers and a tip for the bartender, and the general crowd was friendly enough. Never felt pressured to order extra drinks. Women I saw were all attractive, but seemed more interested in hanging out than working. Can’t say I had a bad time, for what I spent, but maybe on a slower night with fewer regulars I would’ve had a better time, or if I’d come later as it seemed to take a while to get going there. Can’t comment on privates because unfortunately I never got there. Pasty bars aren’t really my thing and it was more like hanging at a local bar for a few drinks with the locals than a strip club for the time I was there.
