Colt 45...It works every time except for when it doesn't.

This club is literally off the main strip. Not much real estate, and the parking out front is a tight fit. Almost the lost the front end of the car I was driving...twice. The first time was I trying to back into a parking space without hitting the sign that was street side but too close to the parking space, guessing that’s why it was available, and the second time when a truck came flying into the parking lot as I was driving out. In between there was a visit that wasn’t notable but not terrible. At the door got charged $5. No id required. No pat-down.

Black and Latino Club. Guys could possibly be rough but were minding their own business. Just like me. A spend money and no one fucks with you kind of place. $3 beer. Pool tables with red felt. Three of them. Guys were steadily playing on two of them. There was a mirrorball hanging by the middle table. The runway stage was not much to look at, and it looked like a DJ booth was at one end off to the right but not being used. Very 70’s vibe to the decor, but it worked. Think of a Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band song minus the white people. Only one dancer working. Her stage name was some kind of fruit. Sort of looks like Zoe Saldana if you put your googles on. Played music from jukebox. Did the dollar walk after. They had this chick working hard. Tons of sweat, but not in a keep 10 feet back sort of way.

I pulled up a chair to tip since I wasn’t interest in pool or chatting with the customers crowding the bar. There was this guy who looked like the latino Billy Dee Williams rocking a replica NFL jersey. Guess he decided to make himself part of the show because he walked up as I was tipping her to have a conversation. Loudly. He also walked up while she was picking music for a private dance I was buying. Since she had just chased me down to keep me from leaving, the dancer was politely trying to get him to fuck off before I finished walking out the door. Should have asked the dude to fetch me a Colt 45, but it was enough for him to get the brush off from a dancer he was fixating on.
