Well Polished Rail...YMWV

It looks like recent reviews and comments haven't been that great from the regulars. I've been here once. This club was my second choice in town on a day where I had less time than I expected. First stop was Club Rio from the reviews to get the day started. It was closed at a time when TUSCL said it was open. I'm not blaming TUSCL, that's on the mongers who are supposed to be keeping this stuff up to date. Not a big complaint because Brad's was better than expected, but that's an hour I could have spent getting some polish at the rail instead of driving. Cover charge was $5.

Brad’s Brass Flamingo looks a bit more like a 70’s biker bar than a strip club, complete with wood paneling, but the staff were cool and I had zero problems being an out of towner. There were little round lights bordering all kinds of things around the room, but it stood out where the mirrors were. Kind of like the main floor was done up in Christmas lights without the string. It was a little distracting, but I've seen much (much) worse. Somebody mentioned in their review a tribute on the wall to a guy. I read it as “Big Don” instead of “Big Dan” from across the room, and it was right in the middle of the entry wall so it stands out.

There were odds and ends on the wall all around the club. Kind of like some restaurants have “flair” around for decoration. I bought a beer to give me a reason to watch a couple more girls, but this was not a promising start. The pitcher of beer was something cheap, but I wasn't going to be around long enough to drink it all. Settled for a bottle beer that wasn't that much cheaper than the pitcher. Sorry about not remembering the exact price. I haven't done a pitcher of beer in years so it went in one ear and out the other. Plus I was staring at the bartender’s cleavage.
