First time back in a while - better

I came in with low expectations. The last time (about a year ago) was pretty awful. No real talent onsite. Tonight was better, by quite a lot. Two spinners were very popular with the 8 or 9 customers. That's two more spinners than I'd seen here in the last few months I'd been checking the place out before I finally gave up on it. I saw just one familiar face from long ago - Whitney, who has worked there for many years and still does a very enjoyable hands-on bar dance. Everyone else was new to me.

Best prospect was Brittany, a petite blonde who I snagged for a couple of bar dances before she excused herself to go entertain a regular. She was very nice and apologetic about it, and I had to take off anyway. She and the surprising selection of new and at least halfway decent talent will bring me back again. I hope it lasts a while. Reviewers often mention how unsafe they feel here, and it's true that sometimes the customers can look a little rough. I've never seen a problem, though.

The closest thing we had tonight was a guy who was belting out the songs along with the jukebox. He wasn't scary. He's not going to land a recording contract anytime soon, though.
