Nice Looking Club, Nice Talent

Club Rouge was the second of two clubs recommended to me by a fellow TUSCLer. The first one was Casa Diablo, which I'd seen already and was only $12 and a stiff neck into the evening. Cover was $5 at the door, and I got a little star stamped on my wrist in case I left and came back.

Second club and second dancer cock-blocking, but was easily the best looking club I saw on the night. Main floor was laid out pretty well with good visibility of the main stage. Main stage was in the middle of the room at eye level, surrounded by chairs for tipping. Well lit. The sight lines in the club weren't great, but I thought the seating area to the front right off the entrance was ok to be able to see the room well. You could see dancers coming and going from all parts of the club (bar, DJ booth, dance rooms, and whatnot) without having to turn around. There were at least two dancers on at all times, along with side stages that had cute girls wiggling around against the wall.

There was a blonde I would have automatically gotten dances from (she was getting off stage as I walked in) but I didn't want to commit too soon. My mistake. She was standing on the other side of a dancer that really wasn't my type and I was attempting to avoid eye contact. She of course found me anyway dead center in a sea of crowded tables. More on that later. One thing at Rouge that did creep me out a little bit was that all the greybeards seemed to be making a beeline for the under-21 stages. Just a bad look. Those girls weren't even dancing, they were just sitting up on the up at eye level waiting for attention like Amsterdam hookers. At some point I asked the dancer on my lap what their deal was because they were randomly talking to each other and looking bored. Then it made sense.
