Off Night, Probably

My guess is I hit Synn on a bad night. I chose to hit Synn based on the great reviews here, but it seemed most the positives people talked about wasn't happening this night. It was, however, the Friday before a holiday, and I have been suckered into return visits to worse places.

I liked the look of the club inside, and it seemed like it was set up well to have that right mix of watching the stage and spending more quiet time with the girls.

The club had a fair bit of customers, enough that nearly half the seats were filled - and there were enough open seats for the any girl to stop by and talk. Tonight the problem was that there weren't many girls, and they seemed to have little interest in taking our money. Girls would come up on stage, dance their two songs, and then there was three or four songs before another girl would come up. It seemed the DJ also seemed to have to call for a girl more than he should have. Then when they were done, they would either head back to dressing room or hang out with each other. I mean, I would have enjoyed seeing them sit around checking their phones, because at least it wouldn't feel like twenty guys sitting in chairs, staring at an empty stage. There didn't even seem to be much traffic heading back to private rooms.
