After reading fellow PBC TUSCLer's discussion post about this club the other day, I had written this club off as a someplace I'd continue to drive by but probably never go. Then, he made a comment about the girls being too young and skinny. As luck would have it, young and skinny is how I like my strippers. So, I figured I'd take the plunge and stop in.

Lets get some of the basics out of the way. I didn't pay to park in the afternoon, but I understand its $5 to self park after 7. I did pay a cover of $5 to enter in the afternoon, which makes this club the highest in the county by about 5x. I had to empty my pockets and was subjected to a wanding before entrance. The guy was friendly enough, but somehow such things always make me feel less safe. I also paid $6.25 for my first beer (a domestic), and my waitress kept the .75 without any sort of even feigned gesture to give it to me. So, I guess I paid $7. I bring this up, because both the $5 cover charge and the $7 beer were both in service of a "Free Lunch." I didn't eat, so basically I paid $7 ($4 extra cover, $3 extra beer) to be offered food. Not a good way to start out a visit, and not a way for a new club to gain traction on dayshift. Cheetah does the free lunch thing with a $1 cover and $4 beers, that's a "free lunch" these guys charge you for lunch, eat it or not. Yeah, its just $7 but its a bit annoying on a dayshift. To make up for it, they did have 2-4-1 dances from 12-3, which is why I didn't get up and leave.

As far as the physical club goes, its still a pretty new place, open less than a year. Its decorated in a western theme and is generally upscale and immaculately clean from what I can tell. The building contains both a SC (the Saloon side) and a restaurant (the Ranch side) so the SC is only about half of what you see. Upon entry, there is little velvet rope staircase which leads to upstairs VIP seating, but its generally not in use during the day, the door girl to collect her $5 daytime cover and $10 at night, and then another door inside. Through the second set of doors there is usually a floor manager to greet & seat, or hover and annoy, depending on your persuasion. The center of the club has a midsize stage with two poles. The poles look a little odd, as they only go about halfway up, where they are met with a wooden brace that goes the rest of the way up to the 2 story ceilings that cover the center of the club. Around the stage, there is a row or two of tables. Along the right wall there is a decent size bar, and along the back wall they have some additional VIP/Cabana style seating. I actually stopped in a few times before writing this review, on all of my visits there were no more than 6 customers, in one case at 2:30pm I was the only customer there. Service was generally pretty good, on the few occasions where the waitress wasn't timely, a manager noticed and either took my drink order or got the waitress. The DJ was fairly unobtrusive, but did prod for tips a few times more than I would have liked. Contrary to the theme, I noticed very little country music being played, but I suppose thats understandable.
