Cornered and bored

I was back in Columbus for a few days, and decided to try Sirens again after a mixed visit previously. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have.

Cover was $10, cashier and bouncer were friendly and made a little small talk before I went in.

After that, it went a bit downhill. I was intercepted on my way to the bar (seriously, it's like 6 steps from the door - how could I even be spotted and tracked in that timeframe?) by Spice, who asked if she could sit with me before I'd actually sat at all.

Bartender was nice enough (though drinks were pricey) and asked immediately if I'd like to buy the lady a drink. I did not, and Spice didn't take the subtle signals ("thanks, I'd rather just sit and watch the show for a bit") or the less subtle signals ("no, I'm good...I'm going to go sit and watch the show for a bit"). I bid her goodbye, found a seat, and found her sitting next to me again already, claiming to only want conversation because she was bored. Sadly, I gave in to politesse and made a little small talk. A waitress immediately showed back up to offer the lady a drink again.
