Beautiful dancers

Chez Paree was probably my favorite of all of the clubs I visited on my last trip to Montreal. It's conveniently downtown. Unlike most of the Montreal clubs, it has a street-level entrance under a significant marquee and the club itself is ground level. It's a bit larger than the other downtown clubs, though not quite as large as Club Les Amazones I don't think. I visited a few different days and times, though it was always after 9:30 or so. Cover charge was always $5. The host takes you to a seat, regardless of how busy the place is, and looks pretty hard for a tip. That's the one part of the service I've had at Paree that was a little annoying. My Cokes were about $8, though when I bought them in conjunction with a regular drink for a dancer they charged me less.

This club had a lot of attractive dancers, some extremely so. There were a few more with surgical enhancements than I remembered from my visit last year, but they were mostly natural. There was a good variety of shapes from slim to curvy, and a nice diversity of background. Everyone I spoke with had excellent English. The stage show was good, with some creativity and interesting performances. A couple of dancers did a few pole tricks, but that was an exception.

The lap dance area has a $5 surcharge, paid directly to a cashier rather than as a pricier first dance to the dancer. This extra fee was waived when I returned with the same dancer. Once back there, dances are $10 each. The dances are done in small curtained areas with cushioned chairs. The seats were better than those at Club Downtown, Les Amazones, or Cafe Cleopatra. I would have preferred a little more space and either a wider chair or one without the arms since they got in the way a little, but they were definitely more comfortable than at other clubs (except the couches at Club Wandas). The dances were all "contact" dances, with touching allowed anywhere but between the legs. One dancer violated the latter rule and moved my hand there. One petite brunette was particularly nice, with a real effort at connecting during the dances and a nice conversationalist between them.
