Mystic

I stopped by Mystic late Friday afternoon trying to avoid some of the 205 traffic after dropping off a co-worker at the airport. This was my first time here. First impression from the outside is the place is very well kept. The parking lot was very full. As I approached the door I realized there was a restaurant in the same building with a separate entrance.

There was no cover or door man when I arrived, but it appeared to be setup for someone to collect a cover charge. The layout is fairly typical; stage in the center of floor, bar off on one side and tables scattered around the club. There are poker machines against the wall by the entrance and a couple more to the left. There is an elevated area with a couple tables and it appeared there were about 5-6 LD booths in the back.

The place is very well lit. The club was very full, only a couple empty seats at the stage, more than half the tables were taken, every seat at the bar was taken, and there was someone at every poker machine. I went to the bar to get a drink, prices seemed normal and the drink wasn’t watered down.
