At Least I Saw The Fights

Went to Savannah’s since they were showing the UFC fight and I didn’t know of any other place in the city that was. Also, I figured it would be a way to at least try to recreate my UFC-influenced Tootsies trips from when I lived in South Florida.

There’s ample parking, and it’s free. There’s a lot on the same side of the street as the club and a larger lot on the other side of the street. Looks like they have a few covered spaces as well.

Cover was 10, and I had to empty my pockets before walking through a metal detector. Walked into the club and…it’s okay, but I expected more given the website. It’s just one open area, for the most part. Along the right wall there’s some VIP type seating, and then the bar. The left has tables and in the rear corner there’s a sectioned off area with a stage. The dancer dressing room is to the extreme left. There’s something in the front left corner, looks like maybe where people pay to go VIP or something. There were five TVs: three on the right, two on the left. There was also a projector, which they used to show the fight along the right side of the rear wall.
