Meh

Made my first trip back to Madison in several years for work. Bored, so I decided to try out Silk again after a 2-year hiatus. Some things never change. When I pulled up around 9 the lot was pretty empty, walked in and so was the bar. Me an 4 other guys. There were 5 or 6 young ladies working and several were occupied by 2 of the other guys (regulars) and seemed to have no interest in anyone else. Everyone was nice, but I just felt like an outsider.

I sat at the bar and ordered a drink and a decent looking brunette sat down next to me and chatted me up while a really hot blonde was dancing on stage. I'm sure I was being rude but I had a hard time hearing the brunette while I watched the blonde from afar and the brunette was clearly pissed. At this point, I just wasn't feeling it and left. I probably should have given this place more of a chance, but everything was pointing in the wrong direction. Maybe I'll try again some other time on a busier night.
