Back to Angel's

I realize that while I have been to Angel's a few times over the past several years, I haven't written a review since 2015. After a recent visit, I felt that it was time to update my previous review.

Angel's is as it has always been. A little run down cinder-block building in the midst of the car dealership and machine shop sprawl that is the area between Clarksburg and Bridgeport, WV. There is a little bit of parking around the back, in case you don't want your car to be recognized in the very visible parking lot on the relatively busy Pike Street. There is no cover during the day, and I haven't been around in the evening in a very long time, but I think that the nighttime cover is $5.

That Angel's is like a dive bar with strippers is a good thing. First of all, the drink prices are reasonable, and the three bartenders that I have met are all friendly and helpful. Second of all the place is very relaxed and low-pressure. Some of the old regular dancers are still here, Denise is an institution, and still very popular, and I recognize three or four women from years gone by. It must be an OK place to work if they are still around. There are also some attractive new women on the day shift, and it was one of these dancers who I enjoyed a little VIP time with last week.
