Cover charge?

I've been going to IR for a long time and the door said $20 for a special event? I got my drink and asked the bartender what was going on that was special. She asked and didn't get a answer. Also "all" the tables on the floor said "reserved" and nobody seemed to paying any attention to it. There is a new sound system but there speaker are located around the bar and makes it a lot harder to hear. The took away those cheap looking water bubbles tubes on the corner on the bar top. That was a good decision.

The dance area they turned up the lights a bit. It seems to bit to bright compared how it was in the past. And the Girls seem to be coming in later and later and spend more time on their phones than walking around.

They are trying to turn it in to a higher end club when its really is perfect and a local bar feeling.
