Changes made, but not to anyones benefit

So I was coming home from a business trip and decided to stop by Christies' of Brunswick for the first time in a long time. It was early evening, and I figured I can watch the Tribe game and have a beverage. Paid my $5 entry fee, and walked in. The lighting was the same but the club had been changed around. (Don't know when they did it, but really don't care.) I sat at the bar, because I may have been 1 of 3 people in the place. Bartender was nice, a little to tatted for my taste, but great to talk with! Got the humor about the horrible bar stools that they have.

Sat at the bar for about 2 innings, until anyone came up to talk to me. She was very nice, a little older, we talked about all sorts of things. Some I could've not really given a F*** about but, played along. She explained how they were running a special on the VIP rooms upstairs for $300 an hour!!!! WHAT!!!???!!! Honestly, one hell of a party better be going on up there. I passed. I did have a dance, it was alright. You sit up on a landing above the main floor, no privacy, with a supervisor watching the whole time. I am not a touchy feely, cop a grab or anything, but would enjoy a little more contact. After the song, I decided to split. Gave her $40 (I have no idea what the cost was) and headed out. MEH!!
