No fat chicks here

I visited Delilah's on Friday evening May 26 after a day visiting museums. I arrived about 7:00 and left at 10. This place is just off of I-95 at Spring Garden St in a mini-mall. They had some kind of valet parking which may have been somewhat confusing since another regular (not strip club) bar right next door also had valet.

Anyway I arrived on the subway from my hotel in Center City. The Spring Garden station is only half a block from the club, the subway is above ground at this point running down the median of the interstate. A gotcha for visitors that I almost fell into is that there is a Spring Garden station on both the Market-Frankford and Broad St subway lines. You want the one of the Market-Frankford line.

The normal entrance fee is $15 in the evening. I got in free by showing my hotel key. They also give free admission if you have a ticket stub from that day's major sporting event. For some reason they made me check my light jacket. There was a metal detector. The club is pretty big, a long rectangular space. Most of it had a high ceiling but one end has a second level that is some sort of "club within the club", details of which I don't know, and didn't seem to be open while I was there.
