I've been to the St. Louis area a few times, and on each visit I've only ever tried the Hustler Club. This time, I figured I should give another club a try. Miss Kitty's is only a stone's throw from the Hustler Club, just a left turn on Bunkum from the highway instead of a right. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, other than it would probably be a lower-end experience compared to Hustler based on some of the other reviews here.

Physically, this was certainly the case. The building feels like an old trailer-home bar. There's a tiny entry where you pay the cover ($10) through a window before going through a second door into the club itself. Inside, the club is a simple rectangle. It has relatively low ceilings, a pair of small stages, and a bar. There's a pool table as well, lending to the bar like atmosphere. Bottles of water were $3 or $4. I never saw a waitress serving the room, so you had to go to the bar.

I visited Miss Kitty's twice, once on a Wednesday around ten and again on Saturday past 1am. The vibe wasn't noticeably different between the two, which I found a little surprising. I thought the Saturday night crowd would have picked up a little. In both cases there were a handful of people, mostly hanging out at the bar. On both nights there were six to ten dancers working. They had names on a board (I think 9-10 of them), but I didn't see them all, so I'm not sure if it was accurate. The atmosphere was very laid back.
