Recovering from a Bad Reputation

Much better than expected, considering the recent reviews. Bailed out of Bar Tropical on Sunday about 9:00 as there was nothing of interest. I have been to Tijuana several times over the past year, but this was my first time in Chicago Club. Reviews in other forums indicated that CC is trying for a comeback with a heavy recruiting campaign in search of female talent and treating customers well. Most of the bars in the area now pat down customers. I just got a stern look, then a smile as the security guard waved me in. No cover. I felt safe going from BT to CC, but I would not wander more than 10 feet past the entrance due to safety concerns. (The next day about a block away I walked past a woman, who then ran up behind me, pulled my hair, and claimed I touched her. I denied it and kept walking, not knowing if this was her scam or she was simply crazy. Because I am a gringo, I did not want to get into any kind of confrontation despite my innocence.) The bathrooms were clean and there was no troll.

Compared to BT, the CC girls were all a point or two higher. Hard pressed to find a 9 or 10, but there were mostly 7s and 8s and I go for the GND types. Total there were about 10-12 mongers. Not a complex design, with a well-lit stage in the middle of the room, another stage toward the back, and music that made conversations difficult, but not impossible. The girls who danced on main stage had reasonable skills, most got nude, and showed at least some enthusiasm despite the small crowd. On the back stage three girls at a time danced without removing any garments.

I was approached by two girls. Both were too thin for my taste and I turned them away. They were a little aggressive sitting themselves in my lap and giving me the pouty “why not?” I did not want to say that they were not attractive to me, but I had my eye on a blond across the room who was chatting with another dancer. Eventually they took No for an answer with no explanation.
