Don't get it ...

Perhaps it was just the luck of timing, but I have a difficult time understanding the extremely positive reviews this club seems to get. Drinks were overpriced without doubt, might as well have been in New York (though in honesty, you received a solid pour). It seemed that dancers were supposed to be moving around the bar, sort of a stage around the bar really, but most just stayed with one person. It did not really feel like a "locals" vibe, but perhaps I misread that and the dancers have regular visitors. Biggest issue for me was that for a Friday evening, the general quality of dancers seemed fairly low, though they were personable enough if any ever came your way. Maybe I have just not been venturing into as many clubs lately! I would be hard pressed to say I would return here, unless it really was the only option in town ...and I think perhaps that hits right at the heart of the matter.
