RIP 7th Heaven
It lasted through the gentrification of Conshohocken, but could not withstand the force of nature otherwise known as yuppie scum. Apparently, Seventh succumbed to the whims of the marketing team at the Courts apartments (funny name, considering that's what Seventh called their VIP room.) The new hipsters didn't want to face the "Gentlemen's Club" sign directly across the street from them. The interesting dichotomy is that I once saw the most intoxicated man in my life still standing leave the bar and stumble for a few feet towards the street. When I mentioned to an acquaintence that someone ought to stop him from driving, I was advised that he lived at the Courts and frequently only had to stumble, crawl, or otherwise ambulate to get home. My compliments to the owners of Seventh who tried to keep the business going for a long time, although their strategy of hiring less than exquisite entertainers failed them. To the dancers that made many of my days and nights enjoyable, I thank you. To the ones that have lost their jobs, good luck! Hope to see you in other nearby venues. One last thing, it'll be strange to drive past the soon to be razed facility.
