There have been a couple reports here and elsewhere about people passing Lulu's in the evening and seeing the lights on. The previous time or two

that I passed the lights were off but last night the lights were on so I stopped just to check. Front door was locked and there was no discernable sound or activity coming from inside and zero cars parked in front.

That reinforces what I recently heard that the bar is closed and for sale and that Ken the owner has no intention of opening it up again. I suppose the lights are on as a means to make the bar visible to passing prospective buyers. My hope is that whoever buys it raises the bar regarding quality dancers and has the ability to improve on what's been there in the past and the area competition. An owner that has enough sense to not hire just any drug addict, fatty, or street skank that walks in the door, an owner that is customer friendly and doesn't require his dancers to extort customers for overpriced mini drinks, an owner that enforces some type of code to keep it from turning into a drug dealing hoodrat infested hole taken over by thugs as most of the other smaller area cubs are.
