Don't Bother - Really

This dive has not been reviewed since '15, so I thought I would catch it up. A few times lately I have been in the mood for some black ass in my face, so I headed for DR. I wish I could say it was worth my time and effort, but I can't. I'm sorry, but most of the dancers here are just ugly, and a few are borderline nasty. I've checked the place out both weeknight and weekend, and the line-up is bad no matter what evening it is. The club itself is OK on the inside, and the neighborhood (while perhaps not the best) seems safe enough - just a working class area of South Richmond. The clientele appears to be almost all locals, and there is plenty of stage tipping going on (which appears to be the primary income source for the dancers since I saw very few private dances, even during primetime on Friday and Saturday nights). The atmosphere in the club is OK, and the music (which of course is all rap and hip-hop, with a little R&B thrown in once in a while) is what one would expect from a predominately black-dancer club. Most nights the clientele mix is about 50-50, but the club really thins out after midnight. The food here looks great, though I have not tried it - judging by appearance only - which may be this dive's only redeeming quality. Drink and dances prices are standard for the Richmond market (meaning both WAY overpriced). Did not see a single dancer I would want a private dance from, so I cannot say what the run to the tall, thin side, a few with decent booty but nothing to write home about. I am somewhat used to black dancers either with great asses which they know how to use -or - mileage here is. The best-looking black ladies are working the other Richmond clubs at the moment (and there are too damn few of them, unfortunately). Body-wise the DR ladies monster tits which could breastfeed a small army. Nothing like that here. I won't say avoid DR at all costs, but don't bother to make it planned destination for an evening's entertainment - you'll be disappointed.
