Good Time; First Time; Will Return
This was my first time on Silver Street. I'd been wanting to check it out for years, but the pandemic and life got in the way. Four of the clubs were open during this visit: Shooter's, Silver Dollar, Tails & Trails, and Club Sierra. Shooter's was the second best of the bunch, and all of the girls, bartenders, and patrons I talked to around town seemed to agree on that assessment.
This place feels like how a college student might design a strip club. You walk in, and the bar is immediately on the left. The stage takes up the center-right of the club, and is about 3-4 feet off the ground. The stools/stage setup is a bit awkward. My knees were bumping up against the base of the stage and it was tough to get close to the dancers. There are lots of laser-like lighting effects and some black lights (I think). It feels like a college party. When I went to the stage, the girl on stage didn't dance for me, but instead just came over, rubbed her boobs in my face, sat down, and talked until her time was up. I'm not complaining about that... I'm just reporting the facts.
The dancers were a mixed bunch, but they seemed on the whole to be the youngest group of girls on Silver Street. Not the hottest, but the youngest. Most were girl-next-door types in the 6-7 hotness range. Most had a little (or more) baby fat on them, but they were all still cute. Most were brunettes of a fashion. One was a dirty blonde, but she seemed depressed, so that was a huge turn off and I didn't talk to her.
The girls all hang out at the bar when they are not dancing (or they did when I was there, at least). There were only a few patrons, even at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night, but I was told, repeatedly, that it gets much busier in the winter, when dudes can ride their snowmobiles to the clubs and drink a lot more before and after. A couple of girls talked to me, but only one of them really caught my attention. I don't recall her name, but she was a cute, tanned brunette with A/B cups and a little extra weight on her, but still cute. She asked if I wanted a dance, and I accepted.
Lapdances take place in this kind-of-weird, curtained-off square of the club in the back, left corner. There are no walls blocking it off, just massive, floor-to-ceiling black curtains. It is easy to peek in and out from the stage and bar. Instead of couches or loveseats, the dances take place on slightly oversized armchairs.
The armchairs didn't give my dancer a lot of room for variety in the dances. Basically, she was either spooning me (laying with her back to my chest) with my hands on her boobs, or putting her boobs in my face. Both of those positions are fine... great, even... but it was pretty mechanical in the switch from one to the other. My dancer had some cushion for the pushin'... but probably still could have passed for a poor-man's Dillion Harper, so that was nice. I have to say, the girls here are cute, and not just in a small-town-strip-club sense, there are many, legit attractive girls at these clubs.
Two-way contact was encouraged by my dancer, except that I was told not to touch anything her bikini bottom covered. The dance prices started at $30 per song, and my dancer basically told me that all of the girls set their own prices, and that $30 per song is the lowest they go. Even though the two-way contact was nice, the dance was nothing to write home about, and the curtained off area just seemed like it was an afterthought. I liked having some boobs in my face and getting to touch and play a bit, but if I could only pick one club on Silver Street... I think this would be my second choice (Sierra would be first, more on that later). Maybe other girls offer a hotter time... I had an inkling that might be the case, but I wanted to bounce around the other clubs and see what they were like, too.
Also, I have to say that the hands-down hottest girl in the club was the bartender. She was a tight blonde with large B / small C cups in a spicy mini-dress, and I really, really, really, wanted to see how much it might cost to get her to even just flash her boobs, but she seemed "busy" (like she couldn't be bothered to chat, and was only there to be house mom and serve drinks) the whole time.
The best parts of the whole Silver Street experience are the lack of any cover charges, so you can just bounce from place to place, and the fact that rail drinks and bottles of beer are pretty much universally $5-6 dollars. I would totally come back to Hurley to test out other clubs a bit more.
Don't plan on getting an Uber if you're here. There is a local cab company, though, and any bartender can get you their digits. You can apparently also get a "safe ride" if you stay and drink at any particular/bar club for long enough. Even though it is a small town, there is a police presence, and I heard stories of DUIs being given out in the past few weeks to people leaving the clubs. Cabs took all of 3-5 minutes to arrive (except, reportedly, at bar close), so it is worth it to be safe.
Finally, many people told me to never stay at the "Love Motel" across the street because it has a massive bedbug infestation. Stay at the big, national chains, instead, if you're in the area and needing a hotel.
Anyway, fun time, and this club has the second-best group of dancers on Silver Street, as far as I can tell from one night of fun.
