Excellent stage side dances

I stopped into MBOT Friday after cruising past the Crazy Horse to find a swarm of teens blocking the entrance waiting for a show at the adjacent Warfield theater. Really glad I hit MBOT instead as I had one of my best experiences in that club. The place was dead, always a bad sign, or so I thought. I later learned from a dancer that the power had gone out and only come back a bit before my arrival (much of downtown SF had lost power that day). Apparently the dancers and staff had taken the opportunity to grab a few drinks, at least that is what a drunk Australian dancer told me. Based on her smell I believed her. She was drunkenly persistent in her insistence on taking me back for a dance (and quite forward as to what was on the menu if I visited with her and her Russian friend) but I resolutely, though politely, declined.

I walked into the main theater area to find a dancer on stage. Nothing surprising there except that I couldn't spot a single patron in the room. Hmm, odd. I stayed to watch four dancers: Shane West (trim blonde with big bolt-on), Remy Gold (brunette spinner), Laylani Jade (thick black girl), and Honey Jones (medium everything, vaguely Asian?). Shane, Laylani, and Honey gave fantastic stage side shows, with Honey taking the number one spot, closely followed by Shane. Both gave great mini-grinds and allowed a fair bit of contact, enough to really get you going. I would most definitely get a dance from either of them on my next visit.
