Lame vibe so went to Ricks's

I was in Odessa for business and Jaguars put a bunch of flyers on the cars in my hotels parking lot, I figured that I just had to see this and so off I went one Wednesday night. Jaguars is off the highway and tucked down by a large oil drill storage area. It's actually tough to get across the highway to get there so be sure to use GPS if you're not familiar with the area. Interestingly it is just down the road from Ricks and while Jaguars has been around for awhile. I understand Ricks is new. I went into Jaguars, paid the (overly expensive) cover, looked around at a decently laid out club with relatively hot dancers(it was about half heavier girls and half hotties) and then realized I wanted a beer and as Jaguars is BYOB I wouldn't get one there. So I decided to go to Ricks. I got into Ricks and found a similar layout and similar range of hot to heavy-ish dancers, and then discovered that despite the presence of about eighty waitresses, none were particularly interested in getting me a beer and Infinally had to flag one down. I then noticed something interesting in that none of the dancers were getting naked. I did spot a hottie up on stage and tipped her as I wanted to talk to her and then spent twenty minutes fending off three or four half-hearted "wanna dances" and one very interested and interesting blond Russian before my brunette goddess came to say hello. We chatted for a bit and she explained that the laws in Odessa demanded no nudity on the floors but they could get topless in VIP and that dances in ViP weee accordingly far more expensive. She also mentioned that while she did not offer an extended menu, that such activities were common in VIP and while I was tempted to flag the blond Russian back down the VIP rates gave me pause. I opted instead for the $20 a pop floor dances and was treated to a good grind and aggressive one way contact and for what I was looking for that night, I was quite happy. I'm not sure I can recommend this place but if you live in Odessa I can think of worse situations for the local strip clubs(Nashville's come to mind).
