Okay for a Thursday

Overall it's not bad if what you're looking for is a smoky dive bar on the verge of being downtrodden. There's one Brazilian woman who's accomodating and friendly, her name might be Ana, and the bartender's nice. Depending on what time you go your experience will vary. I've only been during the weekend between 6-8 so it's been a little more on the quiet side, which isn't a bad thing. Privacy is somewhat limited depending on how many people are there but if you play your cards right you may walk out refreshed... in cigarette smoke. Truly an aging remnant of a gem in LI, though it does still shimmer on occasion.
