Surprisingly Nice

Stopped in today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. First, even around noon there were at least 6 dancers there. They were the usual day shift bunch, maybe 2 in their 20's, the rest in their 30's and maybe one or two in their early 40's. Full range of types - athletic blonde, slim brunette, thicker girls, MILF with bolt-ons. All the dancers today were white. National average puts their looks around 6-7. For day shift girls in Ohio they average a 8. Don't let that dissuade you - enthusiasm goes a long way. Drinks were about $4 or $5, I don't remember. The bartender seemed a little surly, but she may have been having a bad day. Very low pressure, none of that dancer-drink nonsense. And the girls didn't hound me if I said no.

The crowd seemed to be mostly regulars. The dancers seem a bit territorial, as once you tip one, the others avoid you unless you specifically request their attention. Most surprising of all, they actually had an ACTIVE stage show, at noon, on a weekday. I don't think more than one song would go by without a girl on the stage. It was almost a novelty to tip singles at the stage again, since most clubs don't bother at least during the day. The music was eclectic - but not too loud. Girls were enthusiastic once you caught their eye. They were working on the patio, which will be quite nice in a few weeks. I did not get the impression that extras are on the table, at least not in the club. The "Private" dances are done in the open - $10 a pop on a couch in the corner. If there is another VIP area I didn't see it, and nobody mentioned it. Good grind but no stick shifting. The club felt very safe, like a neighborhood bar. One drunk regular insisted on buying me my first dance, since I was new. I heard a rumor that the club is owned by a group of, shall we say, Motorcycle Enthusiasts. That reputation may be keeping the troublemakers out. All in all, a pleasant way to kill a couple of hours.
