Still marginal at best

Quick summary, better than my last visit, but still not that great.

I hadn't been here in about 6 months, since my previous few visits had gotten progressively worse and there really wasn't anything this club did as well or better than the other options in town. The only real exception is that they do $10 dances on Tuesdays. They've kinda revamped it a bit, its now "half price" Tuesdays. Cover is $5, dance area admission is another $5, and each dance is $10. I didn't pay to park on this day, but on my way out there were cones in the lot and it looked like someone was posting up to start collecting parking, but maybe not. They've been pretty inconsistent about that in the past, I've seen someone out there and not paid to park, and I've paid 5 or 10 to park too. Drinks were normally priced, $6 domestics and $10 cocktails, which was a nice change from the $8-13 they were charging last time. The atmosphere is mostly the same, but with some minor tweaks. The half wall between the bar & the stage now has a pathway in between in the middle & the love seats attached to the side have been replaced with tables & chairs. Overall, there are still few places to sit that feel comfortable, some are crowded others have obstructed views, etc. There's a good bit sectioned off for VIP seating/bottle service, which is something I still find annoying but perhaps that's just because I go at off peak times and never use those seats or see them used. The DJ wasn't too bad, but the songs were well under 3 minutes. The lighting is still poor, but much improved.

As far as dancers go, it was mostly the same lot as last time. A few of the older/heavier girls were gone and a few younger/slimmer ones had replaced them. None that I'd call slim/fit, but at least they weren't fat, old, and haggard. Girls were doing three song rotations on the main stage. I was there for about 2 hours or so and not a single one took off her bottoms. There was really only two girls there that I thought were good looking enough to bother with dances. Neither were hot enough for me to chase them down to approach them, and only one approached me. She was nice & chatty, but didn't waste time asking if I'd like a dance when the conversation hit a lull. We went back to the dance area & had to wait about a song or so for the floor guy to get back to the little both at the entrance to collect the $5 fee, which came with a bracelet for re-entry. We sat down in our little love seat to wait for the next song. The dances were good, not really high mileage but I was entertained none the less as she made an effort to figure out what I liked and did it. This time the bouncer didn't come back and check on us every song like they had in the past, but there was still a parade of other customer/dancer pairs passing by us at least a 10 times over the 4 dances we did. Since the area is a little cramped, we both had to make way for passers by which really interrupted the flow. In all honesty, that's why I stopped. After the third dancer kicked my foot walking by I figured that was enough. I paid the girl with a bit of a tip, she said thanks and walked off. I hung out for a while after, the other girl I would have said yes to never came over. I got bored and left.
