YMMV
Well, by now anyone reading a review knows DC's no touch rules, so no need to go there. Now, I have been coming here for a couple of decades now, at time being very much a regular (my drink would be waiting for me by the time I sat down at the bar, knew all the dancers personally, even dating one at a time), to being a much less frequent customer. During that time, dancers always kept to the rules, as the owner is pretty tough on his standards. Which is why when a dancer I really didn't know tried to sell me on the vip room, I failed to see the point. $300 for half an hour for what amounts to private dance? Overall, all the renovations to both downstairs and the new vip area are top notch. In terms of what you I get for a $300 vip experience, my guess ymmv depending on the dancer, but I would expect it to be on the lower end of the spectrum. The dancer I was with told me they're allowed to "cuddle", and sometimes get away with more. I had my doubts but this dancer was already being playful so I figured what the hell. So the $300 is $100 to the house and $200 to the dancer. If you charge it they put a surcharge of $40 for the dancer's share (they are up front about that). They also try to up sell champagne or bottle service while there. No for the details, depending on where you are (and the eagerness of the dancer) it is not impossible for being a little more "handsy" when she is not dancing for you, but rather joining you for a "cuddle" on the sofa. However, there is always a manager upstairs, so this will be limited depending on which booth you're sitting in and how many other people are up there. If you're in the booth directly across from the bar, and the only person up there, you're going to be pretty well watched (no cameras up there however). We were fairly well watched, but this dancer was in a very playful mood, and I have to admit this was the most hands on experience I've had. Still, not a full grins lap dance or anything of that nature, but there was a little play going on while we "cuddled." Now again, knowing the owner, I have to say I expect this to be highly frowned upon, and expect if caught you'll be ejected and the dancer axed, but who the hell knows. Perhaps things are slowly changing in DC? Either way, if you have $300 burning a hole in your pocket, and you think a dancer is willing to play, why not, give it a roll...but don't be surprised if all you get is a half hour of a private dance in a really nice setting.
