Small friendly club, but pricey

Stopped into Mpire while in DC a few month back. Decided on here over Camelot's next door simply based on the fact that this place was smaller and you tend to get more dancer attention in smaller venues. There were only about 8 girls on staff for the night (which seems light for a Friday) but they did not disappoint. Overall the girls are very pretty, but seemed like they had a lot of new dancers. Of the 4 that I was able to have conversations with over the night, 1 of the girls indicated it was her first night dancing, another that she just started that week, and another indicated that she just came over to Mpire a few weeks ago from another club. The inexperience of the brand new girls certainly showed when they struggled with walking in their heels and trying to take off their robes/dresses, panties, etc while on stage. Both were very attractive though so it was actually kinda cute to watch them learn. The ground floor has two poles, one at either end of the bar. Even though there were only about 8 girls dancing, the DJ kept both poles going. They turned over every song, so you got hit up pretty frequently on the "dollar walks". Drinks were pricey too. In a manner of 2 hours I had run up a good size tab for drink and tapped out in cash. I guess I stuck around too long after I tapped mac for more dollars (10% ATM fee BTW) because the club started filling up as the surrounding bars closed up and Mpire filled in, but none of the girls wanted to hang anymore since I was old news. I think the rest of the club was empty (probably due to the lack of staff). The girls disappeared occasionally between dances up the stair, but I believe it was to freshen up and take breaks. Otherwise, I really only saw a few guys disappear with one of the girls for a DC "Air Dance." Overall, despite it being pricey, the small venue lends to a fun atmosphere. Multiple wives/girlfriends were in there, and got plenty of attention from the dancers. I'd probably check it out again, and would recommend it.
