Just passing through town

Every now and then I find myself in the Fort Walton Beach area and if it happens to be tourist season I try to make one visit to Sammy's on the Island to see what the talent looks like. My last visit here was back in July 2016 so I was about due for another walk through. The cover charge after 11 pm was still $6 at the door and my choice of beer tonight was bottled Corona Light for $5 which is the standard price. Looking around the bar nothing has changed much in terms of layout except for the removal of some of the old furniture. The new tables and chairs were a big improvement and slightly more comfortable. As for the talent there were roughly 20 girls in the building down from about 28 on Friday night according to my waitress. Overall it was a mixed bag with one solid 8 in the group (Mary Kay) who could fit right into the high end Vegas club scene. The rest included two Asians, probably Filipina from their appearance to include Lyselle who must be approaching her mid forties by now. I first ran across her ten years ago out at Club 51 in Navarre and she has been a fixture at Sammy's for at least the past three years. The other Filipina was much younger and apparently just back from Maternity leave given her appearance and choice of outfits. The rest of the dancers were all Caucasians in the 3 to 6 range. As I mentioned earlier Mary Kay was the best of the bunch tonight. A dark haired petite brunette with enhanced headlights who had a great moves on stage and an equally attractive personality off stage. If I was in the market for non-Private low contact table dances Mary Kay would have been the choice tonight. Fortunately I am heading back to Las Vegas shortly so I passed on the opportunity tonight in search of better talent later. I may give this bar another look on a Friday night in a few weeks to see what the other 6-8 dancers look like before I head back to Sin City.
